Ferrería Rugando was originally a blacksmith and was one of the last smithies in the area. The ultimate year of functioning was 1925. The old building has been restored into casa rural. Next to the house is also a restored water mill.
The house is situated next to the river. This allows our guest the opportunity to participate in some swimming or fishing. The another feature is that we are located no more than about an hour away from tourist attractions such as; Las Médulas, Montefurado, O Courel, Ribeira Sacra, Las Ermitas, Manzaneda, etc |

The house is let on a room-by-room basis. It has 8 double rooms, two of them are suites with whirlpool bath.
For our customers we provide a cafeteria, restaurant and laundry services, In addition we have 4 rooms for communal use:
* One above the cafeteria has a billiard table.
* Another is the library, with TV, DVD.
* The third has traditional seats (escano) and an open fireplace (Lareirá) and features sofas for your relaxation.
* The forth room is on two levels, one of them there are card tables and on the upper level is a ping-pong table. |
