Located north of the valley of Monforte de Lemos, Bóveda has many places of tourist interest. For example the blacksmith of Penacova, which is now a casa rural. Among its most characteristic buildings is the Pazo of the Marquis of Bóveda (Domingo Lois de Monteagudo), which was built on the ruins of a former Benedictine monastery, in an Italian style, in the 18th century. It may not be possible to see inside some monuments.
You will also find facilities for hunting and fishing. There are some walking routes that allow you to discover some of the many “castros” and “medorras” here in Galicia. One walking route covers 17 km from Viveiro dos Trollos to Penacova.

The chapel of the Divino Ecce-Homo, dates back to the eighteenth century built in the shape of a "T.”
The front facade has many elements; the main entrance, over which sits a sculpture of Ecce Homo. The square tower at the top, with four openings and plenty of rococo decoration hangs the bell. On the door on the north side, there is an inscription: ESTA CAPILLA HIZOSE DE LIMOSNA SIENDO VICARIO DON DIEGO GVITIAN AÑO DE 1782.
