Located in the southeast corner of the province of Lugo, the town of Quiroga is a great location to visit the mountains of Sierra de O Courel. Access is easy from the N120 road. Or you can arrive by train as an alternative.
The rural area around Quiroga has plenty to appeal to all of our visitors. Here you will find particularly high and sometimes inhospitable mountains. Their rugged topography and together with the harsh winter climate is verified in the local styles of traditional architecture which has been adapted to protect the population.
