On Feb. 5, 2004 the Professional Association of Rural Tourism "Lugosur", was created. We are composed of businesses that work in the tourism industry. The area covered is to the southern area of Lugo province in Galicia, Spain and covers the councils of; Monforte de Lemos, O Saviñao, Pantón, Sober, Bóveda, A Pobra do Brollón, Chantada, Taboada, Carballedo, Quiroga, Ribas de Sil, Folgoso do Caurel & O Incio. Within the region covered by the association are two of the natural wonders of the interior of Galicia: Ribeira Sacra and The mountains of O Courel.
